厚生労働省は10月20日より、マイナンバーカードを健康保険証として利用できるオンライン資格確認の本格運用を開始しました。同省によると、同日に運用を開始した医療機関・薬局は11,676施設、全体の5.1%に留まりましたが、オンライン資格確認に必要な「顔認証付きカードリーダー」を申し込んでいるのが128,984施設で全体の約6割となり、今後は対応機関も順次拡大されていく見通しです。尚、11月21日時点での対応医療機関は18,344件（全体の約8％）、宮城県内では400の医療機関・薬局で利用可能となっております。（2021年11月29日）
Only 8% of the medical institutions has accepted My Number Card as the health insurance card as of November 21, even one month after starting of introduction. However, some sixty percent of total institutions have already applied for the face regognition type card reader and MHLW expects the number of the applicable institution will be increasing gradually. In Miyagi prefecture, for example, over 400 medical institutions have already accepted my-number-card as the alternative of the ordinary health insurance card. (29/NOV/2021)
