雇用保険制度は本来、主たる事業所での労働条件が週所定労働時間20時間以上かつ31日以上の雇用見込み等の適用要件を満たす場合に適用されますが、令和4年1月より複数の事業所で勤務する65歳以上の労働者が２つの事業所での勤務を合計して下記の加入要件を満たす場合、本人の申請によって特例的に雇用保険の被保険者となれるマルチ高年齢被保険者制度が試行運用されます。マルチ高年齢被保険者であった方が失業した場合には、一定の要件を満たせば、高年齢求職者給付金（被保険者期間に応じて基本手当日額の30日分または50日分）を一時金で受給することができるようになります。
・複数の事業所に雇用される65歳以上の労働者であること。
・２つの事業所（１週間の所定労働時間が５時間以上20時間未満であるものに限る。）の労働時間を合計して１週間の所定労働時間が20時間以上であること
・２つの事業所のそれぞれの雇用見込みが31日以上であること。
In general, the employment insurance is applicable for the employees who are continually hired under the both condition of more than 20 hrs per week and also 31 days or more. Effective since January 2022, the employee whose age is more than 65 yrs and works for more than two offices shall be insured if the total hours and days of his service meet the conditions and applies by himself for being insured as so called Multi Job Insured. If these elderly insured lost the job, they could get the benefit for Elderly Job Seekers, i.e. 30 - 50 days of the basic allowance daily amount, subject to some required conditions.
